    Muskegon Heights Annual Festival in the Park Welcomes Home Music Sensation Tabitha Duncan and R&B Group Kut Klose**

**Muskegon Heights, MI – July 21, 2024** – The vibrant city of Muskegon Heights is gearing up for its much-anticipated Annual Festival in the Park, kicking off Monday, July 22, 2024, at Rowan Park, located at Baker & Broadway Street. This year’s festival promises an array of exciting events, musical performances, and community celebrations over six fun-filled days.

One of the highlight events is the Welcome Home Concert by the acclaimed R&B group Kut Klose, led by Muskegon Heights native and group founder, Tabitha Duncan. This performance marks the group’s first-ever show in the Muskegon area, a momentous occasion for both Tabitha and her hometown fans. Celebrated for their harmonious blend and soulful hits, Kut Klose emerged in the mid-1990s and quickly rose to fame with their debut album, “Surrender.” Known for tracks like “I Like,” “Get Up On It,” and “Surrender,” the group has solidified their place in R&B history.

Adding to the excitement, Mayor Bonnie McGlothin will bestow the “Key to the City” on Tabitha Duncan, acknowledging her remarkable achievements and honoring her as the first-ever recipient of this prestigious award. Furthermore, Tabitha will lead the community as the Grand Marshal of the Annual Parade on Saturday, July 27th, 2024, an event sure to be electrified by her presence and the city’s collective pride.
