Kiesha Guy hired as New Executive Director of MOCAP
ANNOUNCEMENT: NEW EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR FOR
MUSKEGON OCEANA COMMUNITY ACTION PARTNERSHIP, INC
The MOCAP, Inc. governing Board of Directors is pleased to announce the selection of Mrs. Kiesha Guy as the Executive Director effective July 1, 2015.
Mrs. Guy brings a diverse work experience from the local and statewide nonprofit arena, including but not limited to eight years with TrueNorth Community Services Program Director, and five years’ experience as WIA Coordinator/GearUp Coordinator for Muskegon Public Schools. A life-long resident of Muskegon, Mrs. Guy continues to give of her time and talent through volunteerism with the YMCA of Muskegon, Muskegon Heights Planning Commission, the Michigan Afterschool Association, and a former board member/volunteer for Every Woman’s Place. Mrs. Guy holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Grand Valley State University and a Bachelor of Science degree from Ferris State University. Mrs. Guy resided in Grand Rapids for ten years prior to returning to the Muskegon community, and will continue with a strong voice and presence in support of the agency’s mission, programs and services.
Mrs. Guy said “I am honored to join MOCAP and look forward to working with the Board of Directors, staff, community stakeholders and DHHS funding sources as we focus on “MOCAP FORWARD”. I am confident that – working in partnership – we can and we will achieve success!”

Over the next year MOCAP will continue to evaluate and implement new service delivery models, strategic budget decisions and strengthen community outreach efforts and partnerships to maximize service delivery. Working with funding sources and community partners, the board of directors remain committed to doing everything possible to protect the resources of the organization.
Pam Pullman, former MOCAP Interim CEO and nationally recognized consultant in the community action network, has committed to continued support of the agency’s Quality improvement plan, and new Standards of Excellence compliance requirements.
