Homicide in the City of Muskegon

On November 26th, 2020, at approximately 11:48pm, Officers of the Muskegon Police  Department responded to the 100 block of Holbrook Ave on a report of shots fired in the area. Officers arriving on the scene located a vehicle containing a 25-year-old Muskegon man,  Cameron Cooper, who was found to be suffering from gunshot wounds to the head.  Cooper was transported by ambulance to Mercy ER for treatment. He has succumbed to his wounds and died. No arrests have been made regarding this shooting. An investigation is currently ongoing.
