Shooting Last Night in Muskegon

At 1:47am, June 16, 2013, officers of the Muskegon Police Department were dispatched to149 Ottawa St, Elk’s Lodge #274, on a report of a fight. At 1:48 am additional information came in reporting gunfire and that a subject had been shot.

The victim, a male in his early 20’s, was found alert and able to communicate by the initial responding Officers. The victim is currently being treated in a local Emergency Room for abdominal injuries.

Muskegon Police Officers have the area secured.

An on-going investigation is being conducted by Detectives of the Muskegon Police Department and information will be released when it becomes available.
