Saturday Morning Shooting-City of Muskegon

The Muskegon Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred this morning in the City of Muskegon.  At approximately 4:15am, officers were called to meet a shooting victim who had sustained a gunshot wound to his leg.  The 23 year old former Muskegon man had been at a house in the 1900 block of Terrace Street.  An argument between he and a 30 year old Muskegon Heights man led to the shooting.

The victim was treated and released from a local hospital.  The suspect has been apprehended and charges are being sought through the Muskegon County Prosecutor’s Office.   Their names are being withheld pending further investigation.
