Muskegon County Silent Observer has authorized a $1000.00 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for this incident.

From the City of Muskegon Police Department:
The suspicious death reported in the 1800 block of Franklin Street in the City of Muskegon last night has been confirmed as a homicide.
At approximately 7:00pm last night, officers were called to a scene where 34 year old Muskegon resident Allen Saber Wicks was found dead in his apartment.
At an autopsy performed this morning, medical examiners in Lansing confirmed that Wicks died from a gunshot wound to the head. There is no indication that the wound was self-inflicted and detectives working the case are continuing to pursue all leads in the investigation.
The Michigan State Police and the Muskegon County Prosecutor’s Office were called upon to assist in the investigation.
