Another Murder in Muskegon

​The Muskegon Police Department is investigating a shooting/homicide that occurred around 2:15am today in the parking lot of the Sons of Norway Lodge in the 400 block of Harvey Street. A large party was letting out at the time.
​The victim is a 24 year old Muskegon resident who was shot in the head while sitting in a vehicle. He was taken by ambulance to Mercy Health Partners where he was pronounced dead.
​The Michigan State Police, the Muskegon County Sheriff Department, and the Muskegon Township Police assisted Muskegon Officers on scene with crowd control.

The investigation is ongoing and more information will be released as we are able to.
