13 year old victim from Saturday’s Shooting in Muskegon
The Muskegon Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred around 1am Saturday morning in the 200 block of Washington Ave. in the City of Muskegon. The victim is a 13year old Muskegon resident who received a gunshot wound to the left foot. He was treated at a local hospital and released.
Officers were dispatched early Saturday morning on a report of multiple shots being fired between two groups of subjects from two homes in the 200 block of Washington Ave. Witnesses advised there was an argument prior to the shooting between the two groups.
Based on witness statements and information developed during the investigation, four subjects; a 37 year old Muskegon resident, a 33 year old Muskegon resident, an and an 18 year old Muskegon Heights resident were arrested on Felony Charges for weapons and assault crimes. An 18 year old Muskegon resident was also arrested at the scene on a narcotics charge.
The investigation is on-going at this time.
