Officers are investigating a homicide in the City of Muskegon.

Officers are investigating a homicide that occurred in the City of Muskegon. The victim was a 23 year old resident of the City of Muskegon.



At around 1:00pm this date, officers of the Muskegon Police Department responded to a report of shots fired and a man down in an alley in the 1600 block of Dyson Street.

Upon arrival, officers found the victim had been shot in the torso. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he later died.  The name of the victim is being withheld at this time pending notification of the family.
