West Michigan Community Help Network Hosts 24th Annual “Turkey & More” Giveaway — One of the Largest in Recent Years
Muskegon, MI — November 24, 2025 — The West Michigan Community Help Network, home of 103.7 The Beat and M106-FM, will host its 24th Annual Turkey & More Giveaway tomorrow, Tuesday, November 25th at 1877 Peck Street, in the parking lot of the Mayes & Wright Media Center. The event begins at 1:00 PM and will run until supplies are gone.
What started over two decades ago as a simple mission to help families in need during the holiday season has grown into one of Muskegon’s most recognized and impactful community traditions. This year’s giveaway is expected to be one of the largest in recent years, thanks to rising community need and the overwhelming support of local partners.
Major Sponsors Step Up Big in 2025
Two long-standing supporters—Meijer and Scott Meats—have stepped up in a major way this year, serving as the event’s largest sponsors. Their contributions of turkeys, groceries, and additional food items have allowed the West Michigan Community Help Network to expand both the number of families served and the variety of items offered.

Additional partners such as Family Financial Credit Union, Muskegon Family Care, Carter Funeral Home, Hustlin’ Heights, Pepsi, and others have also contributed to making this year’s event possible.
Supporting the Muskegon Heights Police Department
In addition to serving families throughout Muskegon, the West Michigan Community Help Network is extending its support to the Muskegon Heights Police Department, providing turkeys for officers and their families.
“This is our way of showing appreciation to the men and women who protect and serve,” Billings said. “Their commitment to the community deserves recognition, especially during the holiday season.”
A Tradition Rooted in Service
For 24 years, the Turkey & More Giveaway has symbolized the power of unity, partnership, and compassion. Each year, volunteers, sponsors, and local leaders come together to serve residents who simply want to experience a warm and joyful Thanksgiving meal.
With inflation and food insecurity affecting more families than ever, the need in 2025 is especially great—which makes this year’s expanded giveaway even more meaningful.
