Descendants of Enslaved Start with the $4.7 Trillion in DOGE Recovered Waste

Washington, D.C. – March 4, 2025 – Shocking reports from the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) uncovered $4.7 trillion in government waste sparked outrage among taxpayers. After decades of land theft, misappropriated funds, and overcharges the families of Civil War colored Union soldiers are using the Supreme Court’s 2023 ruling to renew demands for financial accountability. For context, the trillions of dollars of misspent funds is enough to give the estimated 50 million descendants of former US chattel slaves approximately $90,000, yet those funds are at risk of being lost in bloated budgets and questionable spending. To prevent even more corrupt spending, the great grandchildren of colored Union soldiers have spoken out, No one gets paid until we do.”

According to the Center for Immigration Studies the total US population, the foreign-born is higher now than at the prior peaks reached in 1890 and 1910.

“The trick has always been using the label ‘Black’ in court to strip us of our land and rights,” said Janet Paige Smith, whose family has owned the contested property for generations. “But this nation is our property. We are the true-blooded Americans, and we will not be displaced.” The Smith family of Washington County, Georgia, is the face of nearly 20 families challenging an eminent domain land grab for 600 acres that has been in their family since Reconstruction.

The families of Washington County have been fighting this high-stakes battle for land for the last three years. Now, the case may reach the U.S. Supreme Court at the same time the 14th Amendment is being challenged in court. The Fourteenth Amendment and how to use it has been a hot topic of gossip in the underground ever since June 2023, when the Supreme Court identified the grandchildren of colored Union soldiers as being exempt from unfriendly laws. The 2023 Supreme Court ruling in Students for Fair Admissions reaffirmed that the Fourteenth Amendment was originally intended to protect Freedmen descendants, yet activists say these protections continue to be exploited for everyone’s gain.

The case, which challenges the actions of the Sandersville Railroad Company, raises constitutional questions about land rights, government power, and heritage-based discrimination. This case is also about the continuous legal fight over property owned by former slaves being seized for government use. “This is about more than land—it’s about justice,” Smith continued. “Our ancestors built this country, yet we still have to fight for what is rightfully ours.”

President Trump is nearing the end of his first 100 days and DOGE has already uncovered more than $50 billion in waste, fraud, and abuse including $50 million in condoms for Gaza. Another $1.9 billion in HUD taxpayer money was ‘misplaced’ by the Biden administration and $6 million was awarded to Whoopi Goldberg to “promote diversity on The View.” However, the $50 billion in government waste found in 2025 accurately replaces the $57 million in deposits in the Freedman’s Savings Bank when the bank closed in 1874.

A private savings bank chartered by the U.S. Congress in March of 1865, the Freedman’s Savings Bank was established in 1865 to help formerly enslaved colored Union soldiers and their families manage their finances separately and safely away from the prying hands of former slave owners. At its peak, the bank had 37 open branches in 17 states. The Freedmen’s Bank was hugely successful and attracted millions of dollars from thousands of depositors but the politicians who misappropriated the money in the Freedman’s Savings Bank in 1874 are the same mentor politicians who taught elected officials to establish the USAID in 1961.

Through no fault of the depositors, the Freedman’s Savings Bank collapsed due to the mismanagement and fraud wealthy stock owners and slave traders told the 100,000+ depositors, veterans, and former slaves that their money was “lost in the stock market” after the Panic of 1873, but in 2023, White House Advisor Neera Tanden unknowingly revealed the truth: The money from the Freedmen’s Bank had been sitting there the whole time.

While leading a panel discussion during the Freedman’s Bank Forum on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, Neera Tanden and Anthony Coley accidentally revealed the money from the Freedmen’s Bank has been sitting in the US Treasury since the 1800s. After one hundred and fifty years of collecting interest the money from the Freedmen’s Bank was valued at nearly 80 billion dollars in 2021.

Essentially, the Department of the Treasury, a federal agency that was supposed to manage federal finances, enforce federal finance and tax laws, and manage government accounts, the Treasury systematically hindered the colored Union soldiers, former slaves, and freed people of color in one of the nation’s earliest conspiracies. Tanden’s comments unveiled a truth behind what could be the largest trial for treason on earth; members of White House staff from each administration could be held accountable for wire fraud, treason, or genocide.

From Irish President Andrew Johnson to Irish President Biden, the national treasury and finance department of the federal government, the bank that directly serves the executive branch, robbed Americans of their inheritance, land, and birthright. Blindly robbing Civil War veterans, the foreigners and immigrants who ran the federal government used the money of former slaves to drive America’s capitalistic society and global dominance in politics.

“If the government can misplace trillions, it can find the money owed to Freedmen,” said Arthur Watkins Jr. of the American Freedmen Legal Fund. “We’re not poor—we’re divested. No one gets paid before we do.” The American Freedmen Legal Fund is a community-driven pre-litigation initiative committed to safeguarding laws, rights, and protections from the Reconstruction Era.

The Legal Fund holds institutions accountable for failing to uphold the foundational laws of the 14th Amendment, the Civil Rights Act of 1866, and other protections promised during Reconstruction. The Freedmen Reparations Fund Trust covers Land Trust Management & Ownership and addresses injustices through pre-litigation efforts, administrative remedies, and legal advocacy. Coming soon, the American Freedmen Legal Fund will offer a complaint submission and online process for verified members of the heritage. Platform members can file complaints about eminent domain, unwarranted evictions, and their local politicians’ failure to comply with duties.

“Politicians and judges who swore an oath to this country must be held accountable. The 14th Amendment was meant to protect—not to be manipulated for corporate interests,” said Watkins. Immediately after slavery, from the top down, former slave owners from the Supreme Court, Congress, and White House down to the county registrar: Each level of government developed a habit of misappropriating funds from former slaves while lording themselves as economic savors. From the Supreme Court to city mayors, did the federal government use the citizens’ money to obstruct those same citizens from prospering? In 2025, the evidence suggests the United States government has not only used the money of the former slaves to interrupt politics in the United States but all over the world. But now, thanks to DOGE, those funds can go back to the families who lost their inheritance.

“There will be no bonding you out,” said Chicago resident Tuan Sims at a Chicago City Council meeting on February 26th. Nine hundred miles away from the Smith family’s battle for land in Washington County, Georgia, the frustrated residents of Chicago were confronting Mayor Brandon Johnson, who proposed seeking an $830 million loan from the federal government. The City of Chicago is facing a budget crisis after spending billions of dollars to support non-citizens.

“We say no to that, and you have to wrestle with that idea from your vantage point—just like the rest of us out here. We’ve been figuring it out for centuries.” Sims’ remarks highlight how longtime residents feel left behind by the immigrant politicians who prioritize spending, programs, and resources on non-citizens instead of taxpaying citizens.

With DOGE continuing its investigation and the Supreme Court set to weigh in on Fourteenth Amendment rights, supporters are being urged to take action:

“We’re not asking for handouts,” said Watkins. “We’re demanding America finally honor the laws as written.” Eminent domain cases like the one in Georgia were specifically mentioned and highlighted when Black American Negroes submitted evidence of Genocide, Crimes Against Humanity, War Crimes, and Crimes of Aggression in International Crimes Court (ICC) and International Court of Justice (ICJ). Written in alignment with the Genova Convention, the U.S. Declaration of Independence, and the U.S. Constitution, Black American Negro Descendants filed the 2025 Emergency Quota as evidence United Nations and World Health Organization are culpable for sending agents (spies, colonizers, settlers, etc) to the States with the intent of denying families of the enslaved citizens from their constitutional benefits. Europeans and immigrants who ethnically identified true blooded Americans as colors (Negro, Mulatto, Octoroon, Black, etc) will finally face accountability for teaching European, Asian, African, and Latin politicians, cabinet members, and judges of the new millennia to abuse their government positions and roles to detract from the livelihood and prosperity of families like the Smiths in Georgia.
