MUSKEGON HEIGHTS, MI – With a stroke of Governor Whitmer’s pen, Muskegon Heights Public Schools’ (MHPS) state debt was forgiven Monday, positioning the community’s K-12 schools for future success.                 As part of a recent budget supplemental signed into law, Muskegon Heights Public Schools is among a handful of districts across the state to receive debt forgiveness.
