The program will continue to include a girls basketball league starting in October and a boys league starting in January. Open gym will be offered on Saturdays after the end of each week’s league games for three hours.

Read MoreThe competition is free and is open to all area youth ages 9 to 14, both boys and girls. Each competitor will shoot 15 free throws, and the top shooters will continue until a winner is decided. Winners of the competition will have the chance to go on to regional and even state level competitions.
